Abstract

The learning model project based learning is an instructional model that can be applied to the STEM approach. Approach STEM (Science, Technology in, Engineering and Mathematic) is an approach that can be used in learning by using multiple disciplines. STEM approach in learning is very suitable to be applied in the curriculum in 2013 so that students are able to be more active, creative, and better understand the concepts taught in a material for a project which produced students in learning directly related to real-life experience of students in the everyday. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of the learning model project based learning with STEM approach to the learning outcomes of high school students. The research was conducted in class X IPA 1 SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jember, with 32 students at 15 male students and 17 female students. The method used in this research is the method pre-experiment design with one group pretest-posttest design. Collecting data in this study using the initial test and final test. Student learning outcomes obtained after application project based learning model STEM learning approach shows N-gain category was at 0.62. Abstract

Abstract: The using of technology in the field of education especially in college is the using of e-learning. E-learning is a way of teaching and learning activities assisted by information and communication technology. One example of e-learning implementation is test. This type of exam is referred to as an online test or computer based testing (CBT). University of Jember has an e-learning called Media Manajemen Pembelajaran (MMP) and one of the features in it is a quiz feature that can be used by lecturers in giving quizzes, tests, or examinations to students. . The research that has been carried out aims to determine the response of Physics Education students to the implementation of online examinations in Lab Management courses. The question model used in this exam is in the form of multiple choices. After students finish working on the questions, students fill in the questionnaire responses which are then processed and presented in tabular forms, then analyzed descriptively. The results obtained from this study give good results. Students give positive responses to representations about using the online system for exams, the interest of students in taking online exams, easy use of web access, online system test displays and questions, and responses to the methods used in the online system. Keywords: guided inquiry, decision making, physics learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk : 1) menganalisis perbandingan proses kegiatan belajar siswa dengan metode penelitian dengan model PBI (Problem Based Instruction) pada 2 kelas setiap kelas akan dicobakan sistem pembelajaran yang berbeda : (1) X IPA 1 menggunakan sistem metode ceramah, yaitu guru memberikan penjelasan materi terhadap siswa. (2) X IPA 2 menggunakan sistem virtual, yaitu dengan praktek menggunakan Phet Simulation. 2) Mengetahui lebih efektif mana sistem pembelajaran yang dicobakan pada siswa, yang nantinya akan digunakan untuk sistem pembelajaran agar lebih efektif dalam proses belejar mengajar siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan pre-test dan post tes yang diberikan kepada siswa. Analisis pegambilan datanya ialah nilai pre-test siswa di kelas X IPA 1 dan IPA 2 di ambil rata-rata sebagai nilai acuan untuk membandingan. Setelah diberi pembelajaran dengan media yang berbeda, siswa diberi post-test dan di ambil rata-ratanya, lalu dianalisis. Peningkatan rata-rata yang paling tinggi dari pre-test ke post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sistem virtual yaitu dengan menggunakan Phet Simulation pada kelas X IPA 2 memiliki hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan sistem metode ceramah pada kelas X IPA 1.

Abstract

This article discusses how to find out the level of student creativity in science learning, using the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model through the STEM approach (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). The goal is to use these learning students who have different thought patterns and levels of creativity can process their thoughts with different outputs on the cognitive domain of students in learning physics in the material elasticity and hooke law in class XI Mipa 3 students at Muhammadiyah 3 High School Jember The data obtained in the form of worksheets (Student Worksheets) and the final product. This type of research uses true experimental research. The instruments needed in this research are test sheets. The results of this study are that using the STEM approach can provide innovative thinking for high school students' creativity in mastering physics learning.

Abstract

This study examines STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) as one approach that is integrated with the project based learning model. This study aims to analyze the mathematical creativity of high school students through the integrated STEM project based learning model in learning physics material elasticity. The research method used was a pre-experimental design with the One Group Post-test Only Design which was carried out in class XI MIPA 6 of SMAN 2 Jember with 36 students consisting of 14 male students and 22 female students formed in 6 heterogeneous groups each - each group consisted of 6 people. Data collection was performed using the final test in the form of analysis of student worksheets and video analysis of student learning processes to measure students' mathematical creativity. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the application of STEM integrated project based learning affected the mathematical creativity of high school students in class XI MIPA 6 of SMAN 2 Jember.

Abstract

Learning problems found that many students lack motivation to learn, less creative and the low frequency of practice exercises and understanding the material. In this study to improve the understanding of the Living Organizational System Organizational System through the Model Accelerated Instruction Model for Class VII students E. The stages of planning and action carried out by the model teacher, the observation stage is carried out by other teachers, and the reflection stage is carried out by the model teacher and other teachers who are observers at the time of implementation for evaluation material in the next cycle. This research was conducted at Jember 1 Public Middle School in class VII-E 2014/2015 academic year. In cycles 1 and 2 the level of completeness of student learning outcomes increases.
